SaintMatty (7551) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 30, 2016
500ml Bottle - Copper with orangey tinges. Raisins, sultanas and some bready malts in the aroma. Fruity and malty taste with raisins, caramel, sultanas and hints of blackcurrant. The finish is moderately sweet with some slight metallic notes, but luckily these notes do not spoil things.

Bottled. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is hops, wood, some herball notes as well as mild toasted notes. Flavour is quite berryish along with sweet malts and some herbal notes. Pleasant.

rauchbier (3939) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2004
Bottle, from Vroni’s in Bamberg. Chestnut red, moderate off white head and gentle condition. Disappointingly brief aromas of caramel and buttery toffee, much the same in the mouth but with an emerging hop note that soon disappears. Finish is mainly burnt toffee with a touch of bitterness.

Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011
Malziger Duft, toffeeartig. Antrunk süffig, malzig mit leichten Metallspuren. Gleichzeitig macht sich eine gewisse Würzigkeit bemerkbar. Gut. Feinherber Abschluß.
Ein gut trinkbares Bier. Test vom 30.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche
