Niet al te fraaie, bruine kleur. Weinig schuim. Aroma van speculaas en steranijs. Smaakt goed, alleen een erg lange zoete nasmaak.

maekchu (3764) - Hirakata, JAPAN - DEC 9, 2013
Bottle from Asahiya. Light spice nose, with buttered whole-grain bread, Medium amber color, hazy, and with solid lacing. Moderate cinnamon initial / moves into sweet spiced cookies (yes), with ginger most prominent / final is honeyish and more spices. Medium body. Hides the alcohol very well. Interesting and unusual, with all the spice -- but, really, half a glass is enough.

Bottle - Bready and some cinnamon spice. Cloudy yellow with a rich white head. Bready with some fruity phenols and spices. I can see the cookie bit and to be honest they hit the mark. As a beer though not that great.

Sten (751) - Westerlo, BELGIUM - SEP 19, 2013
Dark amber coloured beer with a small white head and lots of sediment (wish it was pieces of cookie). Aroma of solvent and speculoos. Flavour is quite chemical with a speculoos finish. Strange brew. (Bottle 33cl)
