Ecaussinnes cookie beer. Aroma vanilla cinnamon, cookie, banana, koldskål (Danish sour dairy product). Flavour is peppery with cinnamon, vanilla, spices, pepper cakes, brown sugar. A bit sickly...

Hazy golden color with a fine thick off white head. Ok lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. A bit sweet and a oily texture. Yes it is like a floating cookie with cinnamon. Nice flavor, but one is more than enough.

Bottled. 15cl sample. Aged for a few years. The aroma has biscuit, dust, raisin. Bit hazy, copper coloured beer with a medium sized, white and frothy head. The taste is light bitter, caramel sweetness and has biscuit, raisin and dust. Doesn’t age well.

Bottle at Fat Cat in Norwich, kindly shared by Grumbo. Hazy golden body, filmy white head that laced well. Sweet smell of biscuit. Spiced biscuit flavours, sweet fruit cake impression. Prolonged ending. Okay in smaller amounts. Way too sweet in the long run (18.02.2017).

Bottle at the Fat Cat, Norwich. Pours amber with a lasting white head and lots of sediment. Aroma of biscuit and cinnamon. Medium to heavy sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body and sticky texture, carbonation is average. Like a liquid lotus biscuit. Good stuff.
