33 cL bottle. Pours light orange with a white dense head. Aroma is light acidic/fruity and with a little spice note. Flavour is sweet malty, and yes like a cookie. Dense alcohol presence. Ends with a lingering fruity and cookie sweet flavour.

[At Københavnske Øldage 2005] A hazy dark yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet with loads of cinnamon. The flavor is very sweet with cinnamon everywhere and a dry spicy end. Very Christmas like - or much like JensenTaster puts it, like drinking Bastogne cookies - I like Bastogne cookies and found this one surprisingly good.

Bottled at DBF 2005. Hazy yellowed colour with a white head. Aroma of swedish pepper cakes - cloves, cinnamon, sugar and pepper. Flavour of pepper cakes with loads of sweetnes and cloves. Not very pleasant combination.

Bottle courtesy of Amy, thank you ma’am! Smells and tastes like oatmeal raisin cookies. An interesting concept, but not for a beer, sorry. Couldn’t finish it.

Sweet beer! Very sweet beer! Light palate. Some floral notes and a subtle but pervading ginger. Well joined up - a grower!

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2007
(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, spicy nose with a fruity touch. Medium body, very sweet and sugary with spicy, cardamom notes of "Speculaas" cookies. No bitterness. Too much on the sweet side but quite interesting indeed. 281107
