3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet candy aroma, cloudy gold with a large white head. Taste is sweet, alcoholic and faintly orange - not bad, not bad at all.
It is a strong blonde ale, which smells great of coriander and hops. The taste is a strong blonde ale, fresh cereal, summer berries, orange, coriander and a good dose of alcohol which emphasizes that it is a strong beer. It has lovely creamy foam that quickly dwindle. Perhaps it is too strong to enjoy for the classic Danish Christmas dinner, but as a discretionary enjoyment on top of the food it will be quite appropriate. Lovely beer. Spiced Christmas tripel since 2007. Off-white head over a yellow blonde beer, sweet and fruity aroma of cinnamon, honey, candi syrup, pineapple, vanilla, flowers. Soft sweet taste, sugary, strong peachy and banana-like fruitiness, gradually evolving into a floral and spicy, lightly warming finish. Nice.

Backlog. 33 cl bottle @ home, 2007 issue. Blonde color, cloudy. Huge head, but short retention. Aroma’s from the glass: sourish, infected, stinky cheese, weird; retronasal: Malty sweet, herbs/spices, something off. Flavor: moderate sweet with something strange herbal. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry and somewhat herbal bitter. Flavor was OK-ish, but the aroma was way off. Icedwarf (1648) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2014
Geelkleurig troubel bier met weinig koolzuur. Smaak is fruit, appel en citroen. Smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark golden coloured brew with an slightly sweet bitter taste and some hints of caramel, fruits and spices. bdunhill (255) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 15, 2013
This is quite the unorthodox Christmas (and not only because its a blonde, which might be one of its best attributes). This Wallonian blonde pours in a cloudy light brown proving to be an unfiltered Belgian Ale. The carbonation comes bursting out with a light frothy head that dies down fast enough to let you enjoy the light fruity aroma. The flavor is mild as it the beer is obviously made up of pale malts. The traditional spices are not apparent on the tongue but linger in the after tone. If you are looking for a traditional X-Mas Ale, this is not the one, but instead this is an excellent beer year round! Rasmus40 (20632) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 1, 2013
Bottle from Havnens, Vejle. Clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, oranges and spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 011213 Oelbas (274) - DENMARK - NOV 18, 2013
