75 cl. champagne-flaske. Fantastisk lækker mørk juleøl, med sødme og de rigtige julekrydderier. Vældig god. bdunhill (255) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 15, 2013
Everything the the Ecaussines Blonde isn’t is made up by the Brune. With trite but Christmas aroma made up of caramel and spices, this Belgian Brune pours dark brown with a big frothy head. It has a malty taste that leaves you licking your lips and a lingering palate that warms you from the inside! This is the reason people love Christmas so much. cgarvieuk (24499) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 6, 2013

Bottled. Quite a gusher. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy beigeish head. Aroma is raisins, alcohol, spices and some mild notes of honey and some sweet maltyness. Flavour is being quite much the same in a very pleasant balance. 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 16, 2013
33 cl. bottle sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2013. Dark brown with a tanned head. Vinous nose, sweet malts, touch red berries, sweet herbs. Taste is sweet berries, sticky caramel malts, touch herbal, red grapes, faintly vinous. Thicker malt body. Not a bad brew.

Pours muddy brown with a medium, frothy, beige head. Aroma has caramel, esters, milky chocolate, light yeast. Medium carbonation, fine creaminess. Flavour is sweet, light vinious, milky, esters and a bit of yeast and nuts. Quite elegant with a fairly dry finish with a hint of liqourice.
33cl bottle. Completely hazy and brown liquid with small, lightly tanned head. Nose : tart, cheese, cherries, cooked plums and cherries, dried plums, clove and pepper, toast with jam. Sip : medium body with very smooth texture, low carbonation. Sweet with dried fruits flavor, some tart and caramel. The taste is quite delicate, dominated by the smooth quality of the brew. I like smooth beers. The ending is still sweet and flavored by cooked fruits like cherries and plums. It leaves a little spicy feeling on the tongue. Overall this beer is delicate but it gains it’s interest by having a very nice feeling in the mouth and while swallowing. Yes! It matters a lot. sblsimone85 (379) - USA - JAN 28, 2013
Ottima dark ale, molto complessa al naso: caramellò tostato e frutta rossa all'inizio, poi frutta secca e punte di speziatura alla fine, al gusto dolcina ma nn troppo stancante xkè ben bilanciata da note tostate afumicate

Bottle, 8%. Tart aroma, sweet and fruity. Almost clear dark brown colour. Small stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is sweet and spicy, has some cookie, a hint of metal. The finish is quite roasted and even more spicy. Nice and flavourful and without any big flaws. Geiserich (4520) - Linz, AUSTRIA - DEC 3, 2013
