(Translated from the Japanese on the can) We’ve used the delicious water and Koshihikari rice that Niigata’s nature has provided and made this in a German-style decoction mash. This is a dry beer with a crisp palate and finish.

This reminded me of a really smooth mass distribution american lager..A little better quality than the mass produced with a very nice mouth feel.

Nothing complex, but a great companion to sushi. Dry, clean and not too hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

futre7 (238) - Taipei, TAIWAN - MAY 5, 2017
Bought for an exorbitant amount in the 7-11 Spring selection, Taipei Taiwan. Very light, Budweiser colour. The bubbles and head fade very quickly. Tastes like Super Dry meets Sake. It is quite dry but not as dry as Super Dry. Not as wheaty as the afformentioned. Has a slightly weird sake aftertaste. Still like it tho.

tightslice (1309) - Redwood City, California, USA - APR 28, 2017
Bottle from Dashi in Menlo Park, CA. Aroma is earthy grains, some metallic notes, maybe some light hay. Taste is earthy and a little spicy yeast / bread with a nutty finish. A little dirty at times but actually paired with with sushi.

500ml bottle at restaurant in Canberra. Crystal clear golden beer with thin white head. Light rice taste, lightly carbonated. Vegetal finish. Not great but fine with Japanese food.

obguthr (6349) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - MAR 17, 2017
Hay nose. Crystal clear yellow, medium head, little retention. Hay, clean. Light body, easy carbonation, waxy mouthfeel. Japan tick!

faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 4, 2017

madquacker (1143) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - FEB 24, 2017
Pretty good in the context of a japanese restaurant. Out side of that micght be dicey. Astringent rice taste and resin tastes.

BlindGuardianco (89) - - FEB 21, 2017
First Japanese beer, not bad at all, a bit malty and good with ramen, will buy again
