Pours a clear red with a full, foamy, off white head. The aroma has hints of sweetness. It has caramel and bread, and lesser amounts of floral hops, toasted malts, and pine. The taste remains sweet and has a little bitterness to it. It's very similar to the nose, being heavier in caramel, and with bread and floral hops. Mild caramel aftertaste. Medium bodied, smooth in texture, and with average carbonation. Decent, it's your standard amber.

Cantabrian (1077) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 16, 2017
Can, with the Tsuru/Japanese cranes on the side, much nicer than the goat. Pleasant and coppery, with an off-white foamy head. Aromas of syrup and caramel, fruits in the cellar, a faint whiff of Belgian beers. Flavour of caramel, malts, biscuits, a touch of stone fruits, as if this was an older, mellow IPA. Almost non-bitter, but with some minor astringency in the end.

Eh not a great beer. Weak aromas and flavors of caramel malt, biscuit and maybe some kind of earthy quality. Fairly thin body and forgettable overall.

Can at my parents. Deep red colour. Good caramel and some berry fruit. Very nice and moderately hoppy.

Bottle at Takumi Craft Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy reddish brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is metallic hop, light red berry fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp watery grainy biscuit malt, fruity, metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Pour is a nice attractive red with no head. Smell is a mix of lager and dull caramel. Taste is similar, no real amber quality except light caramel and maybe some biscuit. Quite boring

Ritzn (980) - Bavaria, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2016
Clear copper with little brown head. Aroma is lots of tropic fruit and grass and some malty bread. Taste is fresh citrussy sourness with some hoppy bitterness. A little dust in the finish but more of the aroma hops. Still good.

35cl can from somewhere in Japan. Pours clear dark caramel brown with a fluffy, but fairly fast dissipating head. Malty and caramelly with mild roasty notes. Fairly sweet and malty, but a fairly nice bitterness in the finish. Quite okay!
