COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep in the center of our Milky Way Galaxy, some 26,000 light years away, lies a massive ethanol cloud designated Sagittarius B2N. While it is often imagined that alcohol is a creation of our earthly fermentation pursuits, Sagittarius B2N and other interstellar clouds like it prove that alcohol has existed long before we humans. Brewed in collaboration with Dogfish Head Brewing, this saison ale was brewed with grapefruit, lemon, and hibiscus.

Blond bier met witte schuimkraag. Geur: hop, limoen, licht zoetig, ietwat vanille. Smaak: bitter, groen en fris. Een goede balans met een klein zoetje. Lichte koolzuurprikkel. Medium volmondig. Afdronk: limoen, druiven schil, prikkelend. Lekker en fris!

A decent saison, nothing memorable. Pour a clear orange with a white head. Smells of grapefruit. Taste is similar but a bit one note. Had in the bottle.

Brilliant clear golden with a nice tight white foamy head. Big nose of Belgian farm saison grains, hay, black pepper, a light bit of fruity ester, and a pleasant spring dewy grass. Full crisp flavor of clean saison grains, a touch of Pilsner, light crisp fruity yeastiness, a touch of dough, some mild grass and black peppercorn flavors.

Bomber poured a clear tarnished gold with a lasting creamy off white head. Aromas of straw, hibiscus, grapefruit, pepper and light lemon zest. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, hibiscus, pepper and light citrus with a crisp dry lingering peppery hibiscus finish.

Bomber. Lemon citrus aroma with grapefruit, floral and yeasty notes. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin white head with good retention and no lacing. Starts with lemony citrus as well as grapefruit acidity and citrus. Finishes smooth with peppery spice and yeast. Pretty good saison.

Bomber - lightly hazy gold with a frothy, well-sustained head - lively body - looks quite nice, really - nose is somewhat sweet, with citrus, hibiscus, honey, white frosting, mild esters - flavor is medium sweet and quite spicy, with moderate bitterness - wildflowers, citrus, grass, white pepper - more like a tripel than a saison, but fairly good if you look at it that way.

22 oz bottle- Pours lightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is banana, yeasty, earthy, lemon, sage. Taste is very similar, lemon and banana with yeast, hibiscus is nicely in check. Very tasty saison, not super experimental, but super good.

Bomber bottled about a week ago. Rated on paper two nights ago up at the river. Aroma is citrus powder drink, banana, dough, clove, cheese. Pours hazy orange-gold with a medium white head with good retention; laces a little. Taste starts out sweet and grainy before turning briefly tart, finishing dry and bitter. I don’t taste any grapefruit or lemon, unless that’s where the brief tartness comes from. The beer is mildly floral--maybe hibiscus? Good beer, I just wish the listed ingredients were more noticeable. Edit: I spoke too soon, of course. After sitting awhile, the citrus comes out, adding a welcome dimension to this beer.

Dusty and citrusy, slightly hoppy fruity maybe a little herbal, end with that yeasty muskyness.
