Appearance: Medium red brown. Slightly hazy. Finger of tan foam Nose: Molasses and caramelized sugar. Hints of earth and roasted nuts. Taste: Big deeply roasted caramel malts. Lightly sweet. touch bitter. Roasty with hints of earth. Body: Medium and lively. Parting thoughts: More an American strong ale than I was expecting. Typical spice expectations completely absent. I liked it, but it was quite different than I was anticipating.

Dark reddish brown. Intersting with the bright fruity hop profile with an undertone of earth and caramel. Medium bodied. Not too shabby

Poured a dark brown color with redish highlights, and a medium off white head. Moderate complex spicy, nutmeg and sweet malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Taste is hoppy with a leathery note, spicy, with a medium sweet finish. This is a solid beer.

Amazing skor bar and smoke aroma. A real nasal feast. Unusual flavor does not match aroma at all, instead channelling deep leather and horehound flavors. Some medicinal notes. Pours a gorgeous clear garnet with a wispy off white head.

Black hue with a foamy large beige head. Lovely herbal and winter spicy nose with fruit and cocoa and clove and mulling spice. Full rich flavor that’s roasty and earthy with mulling spice like clove and cinnamon and a kiss of cacao but also stoutly and richly dark malty and a kiss winter herbal-y.
