Draft. Clear amber color, white head. Aroma of earthy citrus, leather. Taste is dank overripe summer fruit. Very tasty. CObiased (580) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - DEC 16, 2016
Bomber - the pour is a clear copper orange and a med fluffy off white head. Hoppy fruity aroma along with light caramel malt. Astringent bitterness. Lots of big hop flavor but nothing that i must have again. Long bitter piney aftertaste. freekyp (2498) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 11, 2016
Bold bright citrus fruit nose. Deep crystal amber. Gorgeous. Light lacing. Strong but nit hot. Sweetness rises bear the end, then quickly fades to a bitter citrus rind finish. Spicy hops fade nicely in the tail of the beer. hman43 (1974) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - NOV 19, 2016
It pours dark golden with a creamy yellow head. The head has good retention and there is a fair amount of lacing. The aromas are dominated by floral and citrus. The flavors are highlighted by the hops. Flavors include floral, citrus, stone fruit, and a solid malt backbone. It is medium bodied and has a long lasting bitter finish. The finish is a bit harsh with the bitterness. Overall the aromas and flavors are dominated by the hops, but does have a good malt backbone. luttonm (7150) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 30, 2016
Chuck’s 85th, Seattle. Light lacing cream, Amber orange. Earthy orange hop, quite nice. Malt strong but plenty of fresh, juicy and bittering hop character to keep this on my end of the spectrum. Light sip but bitter-heavy carb. Solid.

Bottle. Medium beige head atop cloudy dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some pine, light orange, bread/cardboard. Taste is moderately sweet, pine, some grapefruit, light alcohol. Smooth medium-full body, some resin, light acidity. drjay44 (3953) - Salida, Colorado, USA - MAR 2, 2016
651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, sea foam, ivory head, with layered lacing, over a clear. dark amber (SRM 13) body........nose is pine, citrus peel, tangerine notes, resin, licorice, no esters, balance to the hops......taste is mild toasted malts, no sweetness, with bread tones and biscuit from the malt, pine, resin, citrus, licorice, from the hops, finishing with a moderate lingering bitterness, balance to the hops......mouth feel, medium body, light alcohol, mild acid from the carbonation. This is quite dominated by the hop backbone, with minimal malt contribution. This would be better with a bit more malt complexity in both aroma and flavor. Flight pour on tap at the brewery taproom (Milwaukie, OR). Pours a deeper wintery copper hue, dark and slightly toasty glow and decent haziness. Mellow bubbly life and frothy tannish head atop is a decent layer, thicker ringer overall with nice lacing on the glass. Aromas show a potent hoppy appeal, richer citric and tropical life, bitter earthy and grassy support with some florals, subtle gumball and earth, gentle pineapple, bready malts and some gentle sweetness. The hop melange offers complexity and depth without overwhelming. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, a punchy bitter hop experience coats the palate, fruity and dry, a fun melange of tropical flavors with a touch of toasty and dry malt appeal really. Never heavy, some bitter citrus rind, grapefruit and subtle lemon, some decent floral bitterness and again a tropical melange that is complex, punhcy, a bit fuzzy as we move on. Backend is bitter enough, tapering fruity nectar lingers well enough as a trail out. Gentle toast, dry and bitter florals, some soap, a firmer citric ruby red grapefruit note as we finish up. Really nice DIPA with enough body to express and a really fun hop profile that is complex, fruity, and firmly bitter to support. While it’s not a new age crisp minimal malt bill with dank diesel hops, this is rich, enjoyable, goes down easy and has a fun, complex fresh hoppy profile. Well done.
