UPDATED: OCT 9, 2015 Golden, small white head. Nose is grainy malts with some corn, vague, grassy hops. Taste is malts, corn, water, finish is weak hops, slightly sour malt. Thin body, watery palate, medium carbonation - another macrolager. HopfenWeisse (1536) - - NOV 17, 2012

0.5 can. Taste like hop water. Looks very light and beer is not right color. First and las time drinking this beer. No taste. no drinking. thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 20, 2012
Can, 4.5%. Golden body, small head. Weak malty aroma with minimal hoppiness. Weak malty taste with very faint sweet hoppiness. No off-tastes but fairly lifeless and boring. I wonder why so many crappy pale lagers insist on being "Pilseners". FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 19, 2012

Aroma is ______ (insert words later if some aroma appears). Maybe a hint of something medicinal or menthol. Maybe that was one of our socks. Some ok retronasals, a little estery. However, on swallowing it’s utterly awful. Chemical and astringent. I want to scrape my tongue. Very shitty lager. About what I expect from Van Pur.
0,5l can. Pale yellow color. Medium white head appears, only to disappear quickly. Watery, very faint malty aroma. Corn, malty, watery, woody in flavor. Never again. Vargatul (139) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - JUL 5, 2012

Can 0,5l b33r (875) - Ohio, USA - FEB 27, 2011
Appearance: Clear gold-yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, white head.
Aroma: malt, bread, grains
Taste:light to moderate sweet with a light bitter finish
Palate:Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is average to lively .
Bottle at Sokolowski’s in Cleveland. Light gold color with no head. Pretty weak aroma and flavor. Light hoppy flavor with faint bretty notes. It might have been an old bottle as I tasted a bit of oxidation, otherwise it wasn’t the best pislner I’ve tasted. pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - DEC 27, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2011 Aroma: Weak, there’s some maltiness here--cereal or bread--and some doughy yeast odors, but not much.
Appearance: Clear gold with thick white head that reduced quickly, but didn’t disappear entirely.
Taste: Balanced, though a tad heavy on the sweetness.
Palate: Medium body, slick and oily on the tongue, with a lively carbonation, but a bitter finish. Not pleasant at all.
Overall: For a 25 oz. bottle, I paid less than a dollar, which makes this beer one of the cheapest in the store. However, as with many things in life, I literally got what I paid for. My experience is certainly tainted by the fact that this is cheaper than the average forty ounce of malt liquor, but probably on par in terms of quality and taste.
