Bottle: Clear gold color with a nice large-ish white head. The nose is toasty with a nice light malt note and some biscuity qualities, not too husky and a touch of clean hops. The flavor is clean and light with a brisk clean finish, more toast and light umami and hops in the mouthfeel. Light, maybe a little underhopped, but it’s very approachable.

Big 1L bottle at the flat in Sofia, Bulgaria. Pours perfectly clear pale yellow, lightly effervescent, with a small but impressively long-lasting white foam head. Pale bread and cereal in the nose, some dough. Light sweet flavor with dough, cereal, mild straw, bread batter, faint paper. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with light bitter hay, white bread, hints of lined paper and cereal. Pretty basic cheap lager.

New bomber at the local shop. Normally I wouldn’t buy any more Euro beers from this place since they all seem to be very old, but this was a new item and it had a date stamp reassuring me that all was well. Although my numbers seem mediocre to low this was a very enjoyable lager. Aroma of plain cereal that is lightly sweetened with some grassy hops in the nose. Crystal clear gold color, the pour produced a fluffy white head that blanketed the glass leaving tons of lacing. Soft and light to the palate, the aftertaste is too sweet. Drinks easy and has a cream ale effect. Grainy and grassy with some mild hop flavors. Apples are evident as well in small doses. Pleasant $3 bomber, simple but it works.
