EDELWEISS Hefetrüb is unfiltered, golden and very fruity with a slight banana nose. Refreshingly this fine sparkling wheat beer offers spice-like flavors on the palate.

Big banana aroma, familiar hefe yeast flavor with subdued spiciness. A little thin on the palate with an astringency that accumulates with each taste. Best reserved for hot weather though definitely a quality brew by most measures. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy almost light brown (something wrong with the cask) with a long lasting white head. Yeasty, banana and lemony aroma. Taste of wheat, yeast and lemon.

On tap. Just slightly hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is classic with nice banana and clove esters and fresh yeast. Taste follows with sweet wheat and banana, quite clean and floral. Body is quite light for the style and has a crisp carbonation. Overall it has nice weissbier flavors but it doesn’t look and feel like expected.

Donkergeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is zoet en minder fruitig maar ondanks dat met iets van banaan, mandarijn en rozijnen. Best goed.

Cloudy orange-yellow color. Strong aroma of cookies, bananas, petroleum, and bubblegum. Quite fruity and sweet flavor, very smooth. Tastes of banana with a tart finish. A touch of clove numbing on the tongue. Not the most complex, but good if you like your hefeweissens on the fruity side and lacking spiciness. I do.

LCI. Uit de fles geschonken. Mout en bananenschuimpjes, met koolzuur: fris en snoeperig. Niet echt geweldig.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy yellow gold color. Thick creamy white head lasts all the way to the end. Yeasty citrus malt aroma. Refreshing lemony wheat malt flavor upfront. Very flavorful and refreshing. A pleasant Weizenbier in the style of Old Bavaria.

Fules (1227) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - APR 22, 2017
Nagy, tartós hab, narancsba hajló szőke szín. Citromos, búzás, szegfűszeges illat. Enyhén édeskés, búzás, banános, fűszeres ízvilág, nemi citromos beütéssel. Közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Frissítő, tisztességesen összerakott búzasör.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow in colour. Fruity; banana and lemon citrus. Spicy and yeasty. Malty; wheaty, caramel. Sweetish fruity with a slightly sour citric edge. Not bad. Refreshing. Drinkable. (2009-06)

On tap in Cluj-Napoca. Golden cloudy color. Nose nothing special, some bready sourness, yeast, bananas. Taste follows the nose in a natural way, with some watery feeling. An okay wheat beer.
