COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshing and very drinkable craft beer, Eden Mill’s St Andrews Blonde Craft Beer is our only single malt and single hopped beer. It has loads of hoppy attitude and a flavour profile spanning apricot to pineapple and grapefruit.

Blonde beers can vary from the Majestic to the Mundane. We think ours as more of a Marilyn rather than a Munter. Best served chilled, we defy you to try this and not fall in love.

With the ingredients we use, and their origins, our St Andrews Blonde craft beer is full of personality.

tombyars (1749) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - JUN 27, 2017
330ml bottle purchased at the brewery, thanks to Andrew! Sampled on the 25th June 2017. Poured into a tulip glass, opaque gold in colour with a poor thin white head which fades away fast. Bitter hoppy aroma with shades of orange peel. Thin resiny mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malt gives light digestive biscuit base with tart gooseberry and grapefruit notes. Dusty hop resins impart a citrus bitter aftertaste with dry pith present in the mouth. Finish is again bitter with zesty grapefruit still evident, along with sweeter marmalade notes. Once again the bottled ales are a disappointment, the Golden Ale lacking both in body and complexity. A poor session ale.

From bottle at the brewery. Clean looking and tasting with plenty of flavor for the low ABV. Pineapple, apple and floral notes. Galaxy hops and single malt. Mild aroma but moderately strong flavor.
