From tap at MBCC 2017. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, wood and licorice.

In short: bourbon roasty ale.
Did I enjoy it:yes.
Pours quite dark with nice little light tan head. Short head retetion, little lacing. Sweet bourbon, wood, roasty and little coffee nose, some licorice. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is roasty, wood, bourbon, coffee, some palate warmer, dry finish. A bit watery and lacking complexity for the ABV stated. Enjoyable anyway.

Bottle 33cl, a dark beer with medium off white head. Nose is on oak, plum and dark chocolate. Aroma is on dark coffee and dark chocolate, vinous, oak like, plum touch, tannic. Finish is vinous with dark coffee and tannic notes.

Bottle at Højbjerg tasting. Pours jet black with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, bourbon, light coconut, malt, vanilla and lactose. Medium to heavy sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and smooth. 170617
