stupre (489) - Nanterre, FRANCE - SEP 23, 2017

In short: bourbon roasty ale.
Did I enjoy it:yes.
Pours quite dark with nice little light tan head. Short head retetion, little lacing. Sweet bourbon, wood, roasty and little coffee nose, some licorice. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is roasty, wood, bourbon, coffee, some palate warmer, dry finish. A bit watery and lacking complexity for the ABV stated. Enjoyable anyway.

Jimbo2 (526) - DENMARK - JUL 19, 2017
Very low carbonation, barrel totally overpowering. Seems too much. The ’stoutness’ is in the background.
