3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
The aroma is citrus hops and bread like yeast and malt. The appearance is hazy orange/gold with a HUGE head (this beer is 100% head when poured)! The flavor has caramel malt with lemon grass and sour dough bread. The palate is thin. This beer was even better than expected.
"a little light in body/color/characer, even with lower expectations for this organic brewery. not a bad beer, but definitely nothing I’d bother going back for. refreshing wnough, with a dry bitter, slightly hoppy finish. some flaorals in the aroma, but not enough. just ok."

Bottle. Pours pale yellow brown with thin head. Little lacing, many bubbles. Sweet malt aroma. Flavour is sweet maltish, with a little hop, followed by an unpleasant soapy finish, sort of like when you don’t get all the soap out your cup. Thin bodied. Pours pale amber with white head and foamy lacing. Notes of caramel, dirt, and peach with a hint of mineral. Balanced taste with a very short bitter finish; almost non-existent. Crisp. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2011
Poured into a pint glass. Bought this for a buck at local place. I was only going to have one beer tonight, but the last one sucked so bad that I needed to drink this as well.
2.0 A: Hazy brownish yellow color. Agressive pour resulted in half a finger of head that fell quickly, but surprisingly left a decent amount of lacing.
2.0 S: Slight (as in zero + the smallest discrete unit of measurement) floral hoppiness and nothing else.
2.5 T: Slight bitterness along with the meagerest of citrusy hops. Nothing else really going on other than musty vegetal-like flavor.
3.5 M: Not as horrible. Medium body, but it lays heavy on the tongue (like carbonated lead or something like that).
2.5 D: The worst part about tonight is that this wasn’t even the worst beer I’ve had.

Not sure why this one has such low ratings. We found it very enjoyable! Crisp, light and refreshing...not too deep, but a nice drinkable brew. Especially enjoyed the nutty aftertaste.

Pours golden with a tall spritzy head that lingers a bit. Smells of perfume and pine. Medium body with only mild residual carbonation. Very clean with mild biscuit essence and pronounced perfume. Very mild on flavor finishing bitter. blklab2007 (2120) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 11, 2010
bottle poured a golden color with a thin white head. aroma has caramel malt, grains and sweetness. flavor is light with a twang of bitterness, sweet caramel malt, corn, grains, and a touch of hops. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - DEC 14, 2009
( 12oz bottle ) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of grass, grain, florals, caramel, and cereal. Flavor of grass, caramel malt, light soap, some citrus, and grain with a mildly bitter finish. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 12, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Dark golden in color, clear, and has an off white head. The smell is hops, slight caramel, some malts, and sweet. The taste is hops, malts, slightly blah. nuplastikk (6456) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 29, 2009
12oz shorty bottle. Cloudy orange-tan color. Some orange and vanilla in the aroma, in an off or old sort of way. Solid straightforward crisp bitterness, oddly characterless, with a sweet sugary aftertaste. An interesting variation, I’m sure it fares better brewery fresh. As for the bottle, definitely sub par stuff. Soapy, gross sugar syrup aftertaste.
