Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. 
12 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small orange glare with a small orange glare. Aroma is breadish and roasted malt. Semi sweet and roasted malt breadish flavoured with a light spice note. Draft @ Eel River. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of coffee. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Bottled. Deep brown colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some ashy and roasted malts as well as some dark dry fruits. Flavour is being quite much identical. Long ashy and chocolaty finish. A bit thin palate, but otherwise a quite pleasantly balanced beer.

Cloudy dark brown beer with a red hue. Short tan head. Light dry palate. Minerally start with a trace of coffee and a whisper of chocolate. Finishes semi dry and with more of the same. A bog standard porter. Okay.

Bottled. Dark brown, small beige head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Sweet with thick mouthfeel, dominated by caramel and molasses. Roasty and with solid maltiness. Dryish licorice finish. Enjoyable.
