3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours syrupy and black with a thin, tan head. A very deep roasted character with some chocolate notes and a strong nose and taste of coffee. Pacific hops give this imperial stout a somewhat different character than more traditionally English hopped examples.

From tap @ Taphouse.
Pours black with a slightly tan white head. Aroma is spot on how I like imperial stouts, roasted malts and some sweet coffee aroma. Taste is a tad disappointing, in that it dissappears white quickly. But sweet black malts, some licorice and vanilla. Still a nice beer though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle- pour is a rich chocolate brown with no light penetration and milk chocolate head the quickly dissipates to a thin head rimming the beer. The aroma is alcohol, caramel, and heavy roasted grains. The taste is initially sweet, raisins, chocolate, prunes, and toasted grains. The finish is slightly sweet, and strong malts. Overall a great sipping beer for a cold winter night.

Tnx Sigmund!
