From tap at Bierproeflokaal In De Wildeman in Amsterdam 17.02.16. Slightly hazy golden. Dense and persistent off-white head and lacing. Strong hops aroma, with sweet citrus, papaya, dried fruits, succade and sweet malt. Similar taste, with pronounced bitterness. Round and full mouthfeel. Well balanced, with drinkability.

(Eem Bitter) Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, served into a shaker, ABV 6.8% Dark orange colour on the body, hazy and murky, small white head with good density. Average retention. Floral aroma, malts, biscuit. Taste is malty and grainy, light floral notes, biscuit, a touch of sourness. Medium body, good carbonation. Average at best.

Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 22, 2014
Bottle: Past BB: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized white foamy head on top of a hazy amber brown colored beer. Aroma is dirty: smells like an alcohol free beer with an overdose of oat, very old malts, old dusty spelt and horsefeeder/dog food. Flavours of malts, toast, bitters, herbs, hay, plants, bit like a dunkel but very unbalanced... Aftertaste is bitter, malts, nutty, toast and yeast ish tones. Low carbo, creamy spicy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture. Not sure what happened, but this one is bad!

MarcoDL (5103) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 13, 2013
Freshly bitter and quite dry and grassy beer, almost like a yeasty saison. Liked it.

Svesse (8682) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 8, 2013
(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 27 July 2013) Amber colour with brief, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with toast, dried fruit and earthy, resiny hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, apricots, toast and earthy, resinous hops in the finish. A touch of cellar lurking in the background. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Well made. Quite nice.

Fairly clear bronze coloured body with a light orange glow and a thin, one centimetre tall plain white head. Aroma of pale malt, alcohol, rice and perhaps a touch of hops - not much though. Light-bodied; Assertive grape flavour with a little malt, some alcohol notes and a funky cardboard flavour. Aftertaste shows a lot of grape flavours, some light yeast notes and a hint of grassy hops - not much going on here at all. Overall, not too great with more of an emphasis on fruits than hops and the malt doesn’t blend well either - plus a bit too much alcohol flavours. I wish I would have brought something different back home - but still, nice to try from the other side of the pond. I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from Cracked Kettle in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 03-January-2011 for €2,49 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the Atlantic on 02-July-2013.

DwarfeD (3540) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - MAY 23, 2013
33cl bottle at home. Not too hazy almost clear amber with a small white head which disappeared pretty quick. Quite hoppy with hints of grass and citrus. Smooth palate with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

jmgreenuk (9703) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 19, 2013
Bottle at Huppel the Pub, Den Haag. Poured a slightly cloudy amber with a broken white head. The aroma is very malty, leading to a rich, malty, medium bitter flavour with a hint of sourness on the palate.
