Taste: soft roast, malty, pretty sweet, caramel, chocolate. Aftertaste: oxidation, caramel, pretty roasted, bit sourish, some mocha, hint of coffee.
330 ml. bottle sampled thanks to Kraddel. BBF 12/2013 – expired but also out of production it seems looking by the rating, so its fine. Dark, very dark brown with a tanned creamy brown head. Nose is oxidized herbal cereal, wet cellar notes, dusty, wet, lightly moldy, touch Coca-Cola. Fizzy bodied & fizzy taste with wet cellar, leaves , spoiled herbal, fizzy herbal roast. Looks like a not so great beer with not too pleasant oxidation notes, not that bad but not that good either. kraddel (8876) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 14, 2016

Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
75 cl bottle @ home. Dark, almost black color. Nice beige head with long retention. Aroma’s: roasted malts, coffee/mocha-ish, cocoa, red fruit. Retronasal the red fruit jumps out more, with licorice, drop/zoethout. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted, droppig. Body is on the thin side. Flavor lingers, but no new taste. gunnfryd (15269) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 12, 2013

Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, small beige to light brown head. Smell malts, light to medium roastyness, liquorice. Taste malts, lightly liquorice, lightly sweetish, some dark fruits and slightly bitter. Could use a bit more body and a bit more roasted malts imo. Ok carbonation. Not bad though.
