After a tour in england, france and belgium, i was craving some american hops! Sampled at Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Hazy orange/amber with a small baige head. Fruity peach and mandarine aroma. Sweet fruity "blond" flavor with fresh leaves and a heavy bitterness in the finish. MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 18, 2009
Bottle, 7.3%. Good malty aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Small stable tan. Good malty flavour, a little sweet but very nice. Spicy with a hint of refreshing hops. Not as chinooky as expected. Gary (1999) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2010
My first Dutch ’America pale ale’ .... MaartenRF10 (1950) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 7, 2013
I love APA. This beer is like a pretty American woman , an aspiringing traveler that got lost in the dark ,seedy ,red lights of Amersterdam, but then found joy . Malt is rich , hops are like aromatic waves that crash all over the tounge ..some .dry ,citric , fruity esters. Juicy hop bitterness is cool. Big Hops .
Not really slick , but a good hoppy ale . I found some wild shit in the aroma that smells bretty like ,but I don’t reckon its intentional.
Hazy amber, off-white head. Fruity hop aroma with sweet malty base. Taste like aroma. Nice bitterness, fruity tones of peach, and warm red fruit. Good body and nice carbo. androman (2351) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2016

Cloudy dark amber beer, frothy short lived off white head. Light dry palate. Nice caramel malt fairly well balanced with bittering stingy hops. Marmalade orange, faint raspberry and a little Nelson Sauvin like blackcurrant. Finishes soft and a little dry with more fruit. Solid beer, good stuff.
Share bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 29.11.16. Slightly hazy golden. Foamy off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma, with citrus, tropical fruits and marmalade. Similar taste, but with sour tropical fruits. Also overripe tropical fruits.
