33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning. Deep brown color with big beige head. Aroma’s of malt and spicy, aromatic hops. Roasted flavor, somewhat sweet and malty, with some hop bitterness. Medium bodied. Finishes with a nice bitterness. Well balanced, delicate brew.

Dark ruby to dark brown beer, creamy beige head, adhesive. Aroma: caramel, dried fruits, mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: mocha, coffee, hops, little caramel. Aftertaste: hops, red berries, coffee. One of the better beers during the festival.

Hazy amber colored beer. Herbal hoppy aroma. Complex bitter taste, some malty sweetness and fruity notes. Again a good beer of the Eem.

Fin (10970) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2010
Bottle at Kerstbier Festival, Essen, Belgique, 18.12.10 This was my first hoppy beer of the day and it was a soft soapy hoppiness. Pouring light brown, soft carbonation, very interesting, quite pithy at times with grapefruit tingling the tastebuds. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Bart (2936) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 22, 2011
Draft, Essen Kerstbierfestival 2011. Darker brown coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a dence off white head. Special sweet herby hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is sweet malty hinted with a slight alcoholic touch and rather dry near the end. Not bad.

3.5

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye.
Deep amber with lots of tan head. Aromas of dark fruit, bready malt, and some spice. Taste of cherry, toasted and caramel malt, and some anise.
