Bottled. A chestnut colored beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel combined with medium notes of malt and light notes of bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread. Nice Turkish beer. trapped (3602) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 15, 2010
Dark brown color, frothy head, very strong coffee taste, weak body, abrupt finish. The coffee taste is so strong that it disturbs one’s sense. You are not sure whether you drink beer or ice coffee! KnutAlbert (6792) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2010
Bottle from Istanbul.
Lovely brown color. Caramel, a little spicy, some cinnamon.
Extremely sweet and malty, in fact way too sweet and malty. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2010
330ml bottle. Pours chestnut with a cream head vanishing to a halo, and the nearest thing to lace I’ve seen from a bira, with the exception of the weizens. Very English, brown ale sweetness aroma of coffee-dunked butter biscuit (not diacetyl) and Crunchie. Sadly, the flavour doesn’t build on that; silky and artificial with a nasty, incongruous back taste; some redeeming cinder toffee, Werthers rolled in granulated Kenco, coffee cake, well-concealed alcohol. Heavily flawed by a nagging, burnt cardboard bitterness, but drinkable all the same, and there’s plenty of inferior beers in Turkey if you go digging..

Sampled at SBWF -09. Clear brown color with off-white head. Aroma is of cream and coffee. Taste is sweet, with cream and artificial coffee, very similar to capuccinocandy. No bitterness. Very different coffee beer, but it’s not too bad. Would probably do well with chocolaty desserts.

Light brown colour and clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is toasted caramel, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet, light bitter. Oily texture, soft carbonation. Oakes (18843) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 13, 2009
Dark brown. Smells like a champ - fake coffee barf. Really bad cheap coffee extract taste - kind of like Coffee Crisp. Horrid. Absolutely horrid. I had a lot of trouble finishing my 1/2 bottle. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 12, 2009
Bottle. Dark brown, nearly opaque and very little head. Aroma is intensely buttery. Off-putting putrid diacetyl that smells stronger than the nescafe mess below. Thin palate is slimy. Flavors are desperate, like reheated gas station coffee. They also linger much longer than I would like them to and I dread each sip. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2009
Can 25 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Clear orangey brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet sticky coffee. Thin and watery, rather flat, roasted malt and otherwise completely sweet and sugary coffee accents. Lightly bitter finish. A sticky mess really. 250809 onystrom (1334) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - SEP 4, 2009
Can. Clear brown reddish color with small head. Powerfull coffee aroma, and very sweet chocolate flavor.
