Head: beige, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: amber-brown, clear.
Aroma: malty/bready, very faint, possibly some fruitiness. Taste: quite dry and bitter, very little malt sweetness. More like a coloured lager than a dunkel.
Pours deep brown with a slightly beige head.
Aroma of malts and slight chocolate and coffee.
Taste is sweet and crispy. With roasty and somewhat subtle bitter flavor. Rounded.
Texture is oily. Carbonation is smooth. alex_leit (3637) - Minsk, BELARUS - FEB 1, 2017
Bottle. Dark brown color. Aroma: dark maltsy, caramel and a bit of toffee. Taste: sweet and malty, with caramel and roasted malt. ordybill (1729) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - DEC 8, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Columbia, SC. The appearance is a clear dark brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is weak by most beer standards, faint malt. The taste is sweet malt with some chocolate. Tastes slightly different from how I remember it while in Turkey. Turkey. Clear dark mahogany pour with a khaki head and good retention. Good lacing. Very pedestrian taste. Not a lot of any flavor. Smooth. Lightly roasted malts. Not bad but a little weak for a dunkel. petewhitley (557) - Nagoya, JAPAN - JUL 17, 2016
roasty, coffee, chocolate, toast, black, minimal head, light sweetness, medium body, creamy. Deep chocolate, coffee aroma. Fairly sweet, medium bodied. A lot of chocolate in the taste. Quickly disappears from the tongue. Full-flavored yet not overpowering in any way. Nice.

Not bad for a domestic, but not great overall. Pours a pleasant deep Amber with little head. Smells malty. Taste is quite malty and a little watery. Had in the bottle in Istanbul. shrubber85 (11322) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAR 9, 2016
Bottle. Roasted barley, toffee malt, and hay aroma. Dark brown with moderate tan head. Sweet molasses, toffee malt, and lightly bitter dry grass flavor. Decent body. A year past its ’best by’ date but still not bad. Foxbush (2003) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 3, 2016
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2016 330 ml bottle. At the President Best Western in Istanbul. The beer poured deep dark black color with a tan head and modest lacing. Some nice notes of chocolate. The medium body beer has average carbonation. This is a nice everyday dunkel with some chocolate in the taste. The beer finishes smoothly with no bitter aftertaste. This is my first Turkish beers. prawlie (1583) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 25, 2016
Bottle in Istanbul. Pleasant malt aroma. This is a fairly easy to drink dunkel without the best elements of the style and the usual limitations. Its malty, clean and a little slick, but better than I was expecting it to be. Rotin (1433) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 21, 2016
Bottle 0.33l. Clear, brown colored. AROMA- low, toasted malts, chocolate. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, chocolate. Light bodied.
