Can, 7.5%. Maizy aroma and flavour. A bit sweet and alcoholic............... frankenkitty (2014) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - SEP 27, 2006
A haze of pulp is visible throught the green before I even crack the cap. *sigh* Wonderful. Pours mid-golden with light effervescence and topped with a thin white skin. Aroma isn’t terrible, hovering precariously on the balance between sweetish pale malt and grassy hop-skunk. Flavor picks up as the dominant malts carry smooth and sweet before passing the baton (in slow motion) to the mild, herbal bitterness of German hop varietals. Alcohol presence grows over time and becomes fairly obvious in aroma, flavor and typing ability.

In retrospect, it was kinda stupid of me to toast the arrival of my newest great-niece with a Turkish malt liquor, but I can be a doofus sometimes. (Welcome, Maggie!   <3 GU!)

Bottle. Poured amber color with an average frothy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Light grass hop and sweet malt aroma. Light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet malty flavor with a medium sweet and bitter finish of short duration. Worth trying. jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - AUG 30, 2006
From a 500 ml. Efes embossed twist cap green bottle with a coded freshness date on the back label.
Poured a clear dull copper hued golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, minimal amount of sticking.
Aromas of sweet lager malts with touches of toffee, herbal spicy hops and whiffs of alcohol, the alcohol actually smells like alcohol, not fusel or solvent like in a lot of euro strong lagers.
Good carbonation and a crisp, alcohol laced, smooth light bodied mouthfeel.
Better than I was expecting, not bad or overly bland tasting, sweet sugary malts mixed with a soft caramel toffee, a light herbal, spicy hoppiness, mild in it’s bitterness, the alcohol makes an appearance towards the middle and becomes warming in the palate, and a sweet malty finish with touches of a clear alcohol flavor, good drinkability for a euro strong lager.
This was much better than what I was expecting, dangerously quaffable, I now have had the pilsener and this from this Turkish brewery, both were very drinkable, I am looking forward to trying more of their brews.

500ml can. Clear pale golden in colour, Frothy head, mostly disappearing. Weak malt aroma. Flavour is a mix of sugar water, grain and malt. Well hidden alcohol. Fizzy impression.

8% in the version I had. Pale golden beer, thin white head. Corny fusely aroma. Light cidery character as well. Flavour is pretty poor. Cider and adjuncts with low bitterness and an alcoholic finish. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - AUG 25, 2006
Can. Golden clear colour with a very fizzy head. Light aroma with hints of sweet malt. Light flavour of hops and malt, hard to find the high alcohol. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 23, 2006
(Can 50 cl) Clear, pale pilsener golden with a tall, retentive, white head. Pure malt aroma. Surprisingly light body completely dominated by a colossal alcohol. Notes of cardboard. Raw, bitter finish. 130806 Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2006
Can. Pale yellow colour with a big white head. Malty, light grassy aroma and a light sweet malty, light alcoholic taste. Light body with a sweet finish. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2006
