Clear yellow coloured with a white head.
Aroma of vegetables and corn.
Flavour of corn, fruits and alcohol. nick76 (4404) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 4, 2006
The aroma has alcohol and sweet malt and not much else. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is sweet with an astringent bitterness. The palate is thin. As malt liquors go this is not the worst you could get but far from an enjoyable beer. ehhdayton (1188) - USA - MAY 12, 2006
Aroma is slight with notes of malt and corn. The color is golden with a white head of short duration. A malty sweetness with a mild bitter finish greets the palate. A mild beer that is fairly plain. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - APR 19, 2006
(bottle - 500 ml) Clear golden color with a thin and fizzy white head. Aroma is a mixture of sweet fruits, malt, corn, and alcohol. Taste is very sweet and malty with a very odd bitter aftertaste. Very harsh on the tongue and sour on the palate. Cappadonna (110) - Delray Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 1, 2005
Smells of pine. For a malt liquor, very good. Surprisingly sweet start with a moderately bitter/acidic finish. Dry texture- you can tell its got a relatively high alcohol content.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet matly and slightly alcoholic. The flavor is sweet with notes of plastic and peaches. tihi23 (4) - USA - JUL 13, 2005 does not count
Best beer in Turkey but that doesnt say too much. The "extra" stands for the double alcohol content which basically turned a par beer into a below par one... theacelatrain (262) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 4, 2005
Bottle. Kinda skunky, but malt sweetness overrides it. Don’t put your nose up to the bottle. Maybe I have a taste for malt liquor, but I didn’t mind this one much; of the Efes line, I’d pick this or the dark, but if you’re in Turkey, stay away from beer altogether. A can bought on vacation in Turkey. A bit sweet and a bit bitter. It is a good beer. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 24, 2004
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 After suffering through a six-pack of Efes Pils, you’d think I would’ve known better... but I was able to get this in a single 500ml. bottle, so... Initially this looks good, a clear yellow color with plenty of beading and a large frothy head. Then the bubbles and the head disappear, right as the metallic sweet corn aroma reaches the nose. This is medium-bodied corn squeezings with little razor shavings that scratch at the back of my throat, allowing the alcohol to burn the abrasions. The fumes are burning my nasal passages and I can feel my nostril hairs curling. There’s a bit of a gag reflex when I swallow. I’m getting a bit nervous about what might happen when I try to eliminate this....
Other than that, this is a fine malt liquor.
