Not much aroma but nice for what it is. Very smooth mix chocolatey flavors with some definite peat flavors. First taste was almost like a Coke but a different affertaste and not.so much carbonation. I am liking this Florida beer! burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - MAY 28, 2012
On draft at the brewery, poured a darker brown color, aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, a touch of coffee. Flavors are the same, not the best of this style, but a decent porter none the less, bought some bottles to go. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - APR 30, 2012
On tap at Charlie’s steakhouse in Kissimmee. The pour is barely brown in color with a thinnish off white head that dissipates quickly, Smells of caramel and a hint of chocolate with enough earthy hops to keep it balanced. Taste follows the aroma. Malty and a bit sweet with caramel dominant and chocolate, earth, and mineral supporting. Medium to thin body with a spirited level of carbonation and a fizzy sweet mouthfeel. It’s kind of light for a porter, but on an 85 degree day in April it worked for me. A hazed brown porter with a thin lacing brown head. Aroma of nutty malt, light roasted coffee, light off notes. In mouth, a smooth roasted malts, light coffee, some light lactic points, a bit offf. On tap at brewery, Jan 7 2011.

malt profile is thin and grainy with a bit of coffee. possibly, either stretching the malt too far, using a small amount of black-roasted malts rather than a generous amount of dark-roasted malts, or using water not conducive to the style. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUL 16, 2010
Brown pour with frothy tan head and lace. Aroma is chocolate and sour malt. Flavor of chocolate, roasted malt, light coffee, and a nice malt bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A very nice offering. brewblackhole (1588) - Muskego, Wisconsin, USA - APR 14, 2010
Soft ,tantalizing chocolate kiss aroma, seems like its going to be a dreamy Edmond Fitagerald type of porter, taste ,however is a rather harsh black patent type of roastedness, leaving a somewhat bitter aftertaste. These malts are by no means unpleasant, just not quite up to the better porters available, and it seems it would be consumed only by locals. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - MAR 9, 2010
Bottle. Some bakers chocolate in the aroma, which is mild, along with a dark fruity scent. Dark brown color, thin head, spotty lacing. The flavor consists of chocolate, smokey ash, residual sugar, weak coffee. A little thin in the body. Pretty good. Tmoney99 (14502) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 2010
Draft at Cafe Tu Tu Tango. Poured clear dark brown color with an average fizzy brown head that mostly diminished with minimal lacing. Moderate nuts and chocolate malt aroma. Medium body with a sticky smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium dark chocolate fruity flavor with medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid complex beer.
