Chudwick (3275) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - JUN 10, 2016
Draft at brewery - nose is nutty oak. Not a fan of golden ales but this is pretty good. Probaly the lightest BA beer I’ve ever had. I like it. Better than I expected.

DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Received in a snifter from tap. 3.25 A: Clean light orange. Came with just a remnant of a frothy white head. 3.5 S: This is all bourbon as you might expect from a BA golden ale. Leather, apple, apricot, woodiness, light vanilla. Bready malts. Not much else aside from the bourbon. 3.75 T: Tastes like it smells. See above. Not boozy at all, the bourbon is a bit more complementary than in the nose, but still dominates. Bready with sweet neutral maltiness. 4.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. A touch slippery with good creaminess. 4.0 D: It’s good for what it is, but these lighter beers don’t work as well in barrels. ★ 649 characters DavoleBomb, May 05, 2015

Patrickctenchi (6661) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Draft: Slightly hazy, golden-yellow with a white head. Aroma is like a fresh 2X4.... Woody, sweet, with a pronounced alcohol heat and bitter... Not your typical golden ale by a long shot.

shrubber85 (11506) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Draft. Fresh wood, lemon, and light biscuit malt aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Lightly woody lemon malt and moderately bitter hay flavor. Harsh alcoholic finish.

b3shine (9016) - Indiana, USA - AUG 28, 2015
Draft to snifter at Ei8ht Ball. Looks good; a very hazy orange with eggshell head. Smells good too; loads of oak, vanilla, and caramel from the bourbon barrel with a mildly but well-balanced beer backbone. Tastes like it smells, but a bit less robust, with a medium-bodied mouthfeel that’s smooth for the abv. Good beer.

JStax (6995) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Draft pour. The beer is a hazy gold with a white head lf foam. The aroma has manor cornflake and bourbon. Kind of makes me think frosted flakes. Sweet and a little boozy. Big body, medium carbonation, and a slick mouthfeel. Decent.

DialSquare (5103) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 26, 2015
On tap at Ei8ht Ball: orange gold pour with a white head. aroma of oak, booze, sweet malts. tastes are honey, tea vibe, sweet grain, bourbon - all sweetness knocked down by bourbon. liked it more as I went. covers alcohol well - 7.6

drfabulous (8224) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 17, 2015
Draught at All Tech fest. Pours a nice color. Light hoppy notes mixed with some bourbon and caramel. Decent.
