UPDATED: DEC 23, 2012 Malty beer, low in alcohol and soft sweetnes, hints of hop. Good beer for desserts containing chocolate.
Gutes und gehaltvolles Bier mit viel Restsüße und wenig Alkohol. Nahrhaftes Fastenbier und guter Begleiter zu süßem Nachtisch.
Bottle, 3.5%. Bready aroma, sweetish rye bread. Clear dark brown colour. Very small frothy white head. The flavour is quite bready, and quite nicely so. Also a little sweet, but with a watery touch in the finish. Sugary, but not as much as I had feared. Bamsen78 (5487) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 15, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of fudge and yeast. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and fudge, with bready notes and touches of hops and yeast. Sweetish afteraste. Well, nice try, but Teddy Bear likes it more than I do. Bottle. 3.5%. Best before 27.07.16. Pours a clear, deep golden/amber, with a diminishing, light tan head. No lacing. Sweet and malty aroma; molasses, (rye) bread, hint of raisin. Flavour is the same. Mildly bitter finish. Lingering light grassy note. Feels a bit watery. Overall not at all porter-like; more like a malzbier or a hvidtøl. But in its own right, it’s okay, if nothing else because I rather like malzbier and hvidtøl. 14.03.16. stouby (4692) - Holbæk, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2016
Bottle at home, from Netto. Clear brown with a light brown head. Aroma medium malty (caramel). Flavor medium sweet, light fruity. Light body. kamwitsta (553) - POLAND - JAN 20, 2016
Aroma: a bit of caramel, I guess, but too faint really to even decide if it’s actually pleasant or not.
Appearance: black, opaque, head large, not particularly stable.
Taste: very sweet, and that’d be all.
Palate: body mediumish; carbonation average; finish sweet, short; mouth feel a little bit spicy from the carbonation.
Overall: I don’t really see how this got marketed as a porter; the impression is more of a low quality dunkel or, more precisely, kvass-flavoured fizzy drink, only with no aroma and much sweeter.

Bottle @ neighbour/the doctor Appearance: pours clear brown with small beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, cola hints and some floral notes. palette: medium sweet malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, notable malt sweetness, unbalanced by a light bitterness, average duration and a sticky texture. Overall: terribly sweet and by no means a porter in my book

50 cl. bottle. Dark brown coloyr with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, malt, bitterness, bread and roasted notes. Milter (979) - Nyborg, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2015
Dette er vist bunden inden for Porter-genren. Kedelig smag. Savner noget fylde og sødme. DraftDodger (1626) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2015
Copenhagen 20/12 2015. 33 cl bottle from Netto. Picture of little boy in German folky dress and in a quite weird mix of colours handling some Eibauer Porter on the label. Pours a suprisingly light reddish brown with white head. Settles as flimsy thin layer of foam. Strong aroma of vegetables, sour cabbage and something sweet and fermented. Rather strong carbonation and sticky palate. Taste is overwhelmingly sweet and sugary. Reminds me of the Danish low alcohol malt beers which is popular around Christmas. Some vegetables and cough drops as well. This has nothing to do with a porter - and is way to sweet and cloying to work for me. I feel immensely sticky after consuming this malty mess. brnandersen (4033) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 19, 2015
33 cl bottle from a Netto discounter. Clear, amber colour with a dense, creamy tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, rye bread, grains and residual sugars. Taste is sweet. Light body with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Short, grainy finish with caramel malts. Rather plain and boring.
