Bottled. Deep amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is mildly toasted malts, some slight caramel, toffee and dark berries. Flavour is sweet malts along with mild toasted notes. Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Hazy copper/amber, small head. Bread, caramel and grass up front. Mid dry with medium body and firm, well rounded mouthfeel. Lightly fruity with mellow bready malt and light grassy hops. Mid bitter finish. Mild and well balanced.

Bamberg Bash Day 2. Tap at the brewpub. Clear amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and dry and crisp. Malt is sweet caramel - toffee, slightly creamy. Light smooth finish. Sweet dunkel.
Draft at the brewery during the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours clear, dark gold with a foamy, off-white head. Solid low octane dunkel. Pleasant notes of toasted bread, light tin, leaves, brown sugar. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with further notes of toasted bread and mellow brown sugar. Nice.
