Malziger Antrunk, tolle Würze, feingehopft im Abgang. Total süffiges, harmonisches Bier aus der kleinsten Brauerei Forchheims!

Tap at Franken Fest 2017, Rome-Italy. Hazy-almost cloudy golden pour, frothy white head. Nose: a very balanced mix of malts and noble hops, really nice. Mouth is a bit honey, crispy, crackers, medium bitterness. Yes! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short frothy head. Slightly strawy malty aroma with notes of cereals and shades of herbal and slightly grassy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a mildly prickly carbonation. Initially sweet malty and mildly grainy with herbal hoppy spice tuning in from the middle part, giving the right balance towards the finish. Good. 24.III.17

Draft at the brewery during day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours clear, bright gold with a frothy white head. Big cereal aroma, with corny accents. Light sweet flavor with more rich cereal character, slight bitter straw for balance. Light in body with average carbonation. Biscuity finish, with further cereal. Nice lager.

Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours tiny hazy golden with a rather small frothy white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny malty and slightly floral with sourdough bread, hay, dried yellow flowers, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, very tiny sour, tiny malty and slight floral. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tiny astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter with wholegrain crackers, cereal, hay, minerals, iron, paper and lemon peal. Bit too dry in my opinion. Gets a bit papery. Decent beer still though.

Tap at the brewery. Lovely, clear gold with a pillowy head. Very biscuit malt nose, maybe a touch of diacetyl, some caramel.. Sweet and malty, very grassy and herbal, a bit metallic. Good body. Ok, not great.
