(originally Keg, special for Irish Craft Beer and cider Festival 2013)
Our festival special is an American Amber Ale that we’ve called Amber-Ella. We’ve had our pick of the Aussie hop harvest so it’s all about Galaxy and Ella in this rather special limited edition brew.

Bottle from Bradley’s in Cork. Aroma is toffee, caramel and citrusy hops. One of the best aromas I have had from any ale. Tastes of burned toffee, citrusy, caramel, high level of bitterness but the bitterness, the malt and the hop flavours come together very well. Lots of great flavour in this one. A great beer!

This one’s a dud! Usually I like ambers but this one is over-the-top in trying to be flavorful.
