Small head probably due to short maturation for 7% beer, like its twin super beer. Have a few in the cellar aka shed will let immature for 3months and get back Sizzler80 (502) - Dublin, IRELAND - OCT 4, 2013
Dark amber pour with a frothy off white head. Pineapple, caramel, cat pee, mango, pine, fruit cocktail. Sweet from the malts, mango with a slightly dry hoppy finish. Very delicious and trumps the Cyclone for me.

Bottle. Clear dark amber with no real head. Aroma is light fruit. Flavour is bready malt, passion fruit and almost a roast hop. Long fruity bitter finish. No real hint of alcohol. ciaranc (1102) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 30, 2013
330ml bottle. Clear, amber tinted gold, thin white head, doesnt last. This one is a hop bomb in aroma, pine, spruce, resin, grapefruit, zest, floral notes, hints of the malt backbone, a little bread. Flavour follows the nose, resiny hops, grapefruit, fruit and lemon notes. Soft carbonation, decent body to it. Finish is long, lush, fruity, hoppy goodness, with a biscuit malt backbone. This is really, really good. garthicus (2939) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 27, 2013
Keg at Farringtons. Appearance: orange red with an off white head, some slight haziness. Aroma: Intense ’juicy’ mango and pineapple, a little catty too, ever so tropical fruity, it’s making my mouth water. Flavour: Wonderful mango juice, pine and citrus burst! Very well balanced sweetness with a good malt backbone to it. Lots of bitterness, alcohol well hidden. A super flavourful brew. In agree with Alex, the best Irish IPA ever made. Cracking stuff.

Keg at Bierhaus. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma is lashing of tropical fruit, citrus, berries and a hint of vanilla. Hugely fruit nose. Taste is a subtle sweetness very nicely blended with a fruity hop bitterness and a nice tropical fruit finish. Nice and even carbonation and good body. Bowled over by the quality of this one. Hazy mid amber, lacing offwhite head. Mango and passion fruit aroma. Initial sweaty feet then copious mango and Papua ending up fairly sweet but finishing with plenty of drying mango pith. Gentler carbonation than cyclone. Certainly more hop driven.
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2013 Keg at Farringtons. Amber pour. Big juicy tangerine, peach, passionfruit and mango nose - proper Rubicon tropical juice thing going on. Juicy tropical notes make themselves heard in the taste: lots of nice mango and passionfruit. Some pithier citrus, a touch of caramel and bready malt. Nice zingy bitterness. Long juicy tropical finish. Delicious - best Irish IPA ever made.
