330 ml bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy bright straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness; with a very slight bit of skunk presence. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance and solid robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Flavors are quite clean with no obvious skunk notes in the taste. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good German pilsener style. All around good balance and solid robustness of pale malt, earthy hops, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to drink. A pleasant and enjoyable offering.

Sharp and slightly sour pilsner. I like the sharpnest, but it turns fierce in the aftertaste. Smells a bit of disease, but hard to judge the taste from a bottle. The taste is very good for a pilsner, but the aftertaste and aroma holds this back.

29.07.2014, 0,33l bottle @ Artemis, Celle:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly grainy, light malts, hay, grain, nuts, caramel, weeds, hops. Taste is slightly dry grainy, light malts, hay, dried grain, weeds, minerals, hops. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330 ml - Gift bottle from Tausch. Nice skunky, stinky eurolager. Healthy carbonation.

Sample at a tasting. Golden body with a white medium head. Quite flat, watery and boring...

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2014 Flasche. - Herrlich zitronig-hopfige Nase.
