3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours yellow with a thin mostly receding white head. Notes of bitter herbs, pils malt, biting herbal resin, Thin to medium bodied with lively carbonation.
I’ve been drinking this Pils for a little while now, and it’s about time I rated it. I think this brew does an admirable job of offering a very high-quality, fresh, and authentic German Pils to the American market. However, a great Pils should be very sessionable, and i found that Einbecker’s initial class doesn’t really hold up after two or three cold ones. It begins tasting watery and poorly balanced. It is still quite good, but noticeably tired. This is still the best German Pils I can get my hands on, now that the superior Lammsbrau and Tannenzapfle are no longer available. It’s difficult to be wholly impressed after becoming familiar with those two titans. biir (1356) - Berlin, - MAY 31, 2017
Bottle - as Brauherren Pils, new design - golden color, white head. taste is grainy, low sweetness, heavy german bitter hops, medium dry finish. one of the not very refreshing pils beers. typical northern german. okay. Grumpelmies (318) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2017
Bottle. Clear golden looks of a typical Pilsener. Nice head. Aroma is grassy, grainy with a touch of citrus fruits. Taste is grassy, grainy and slightly fruity without being sweet. Some hoppy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Crisp, clean and easy drinking. It’s alright. wombat23 (1415) - Texas, USA - MAR 9, 2017
33cl bottle. Clear pale gold, fizzy short-lived white head. Aroma of pils malt and grasses. Taste is pils malt, grass, some apple. I would say it is tangy as noted in the description, and it is also fairly bitter for a pilsener. Decent. Marheb (5749) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 22, 2016

Grassy and grainy nose and flavor. Typical look and feel for the Euro sub-style. Pretty average across the board, but pleasant enough. Rolex2193 (7) - - MAY 16, 2016 does not count
The Brauherren Pils of Einbeck is a refreshing Pilsener with a strong taste of bitterness and light taste of green hops. The beer really good suites the summer and it is really good against thirsty feelings. Brewed at the same brewery of the fames Bock Beer. Worth every penny. Contains hop, hop extract and malts.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a crystal clear light golden color with a small white head. The aroma is a mild hop scent with some grass or grain added. The taste is a rather big hop flavor with some citrus and salt added. A good Pils.
