330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear golden, medium size white head, weak lacing. Malty sweet aroma, biscuits up front, dark fruit and bread. Medium bodied, silky mouthfeel. The taste is just as malty as aroma, biscuits, white bread, caramel, honey, mild herbal bitterness in the finish.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a small and non-lasting beige head. Immediately gone completely. Mild malty aroma with very mild biscuity note. Some smelly wet paper presence. Taste is sweet and malty with a little resin presence and alcohol easily noticeable. Sticky texture and light. Not nice.

eunck (158) - Hamburg, Hamburg, GERMANY - APR 22, 2016
Clear dark golden to amber beer with quickly disappearing white head. Pretty style typical but well executed. Lots of honey, quite sweet, average bitterness, nice and strong body. The alcohol can be felt a bit too obviously.

Helder roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van karamel en hooi. Uitstekend bier.

In a green bottle. SKUNKED, of course. aroma is bitter, herbal, skunky, musty, and some toasted bread. pours golden with lots of suspended sediment and no head. flavor is sharply bitter skunked hops on top of an interesting herbal candy throat lozenge sweetness. also some vanilla and light toast come into play. finishes surprisingly dry given the strong candy sweetness. the finish is really the only thing keeping this beer drinkable as the flavor is so much like candy or cough drops. overall, a beer with interesting elements that clash but is ultimately saved by a dry finish which makes this not unpleasant. this beer was also probably spoiled by light and probably exhibited more cough drop characteristics due to mistreatment in transport.
