At World of Beer Canton. Aroma is caramel malt, sweet, somewhat fruity, yeasty, could be better. Appearance is amber brown, off white head, clear. Taste is robust, caramel, fruity, esters, woody, dry, good. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light carbonation, woody caramel fruit aftertaste. Overall, solid.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - MAY 29, 2017
Bottle. Copper coloured with a small head that quickly diminishes. Some lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, raisins and herbal hops. Taste is malty, grainy and slightly nutty, sweet and spicy. Caramel and cough syrup. Aftertaste showcases bits of hoppy bitterness and alcoholic warmth. Medium carbonation. Quite thin for its strength. Solid.

330ml embossed green bottle. Pours a dark brown with not much head. Aroma is oxidized chocolate and raisin. FLavor follows. This tastes pretty good despite being oxidized. Would like to try it fresh.
