Poured from a bottle. Pours a medium caramel brown, like iced tea, with a medium off-white head. Light toffee aroma. Light carbonation. Smooth creamy texture. Taste of caramel toffee with a full mouth feel. Light malt with a slight hop bite. Not harsh or bitter. OK but not a favorite.

NikkTwist (3403) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 23, 2016
Draft at Khyber Pass. Clear dark amber pour that started with just a bit of off-white foam. No lace. Medium-bodied pleasant dark nutty bock. Burnt caramel toast. Molasses. Pecans. Raisins. Walnuts. Dates. Figs. Sassafras. Pumpernickel. Bing cherries. Touch of sour bitters. Feels like a traditional Doppelbock gently candied for the holidays.

popiela (1039) - Poznañ, POLAND - JAN 22, 2016
Ciemny bursztyn, umiarkowanie obfita piana. Aromat przyjemny, g?ównie karmelowy. W smaku jest s?odko, karmelowo, ale z dziwnym (paprykowym?) posmakiem. Do?? nieu?o?one, agresywny alkohol. Mog?o by? lepiej.
