Pours amber with a small off white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma is caramel, nuts and some dark fruit. Taste is sweet with a touch of acidic bitters, mostly sweet. Medium bodied, slick and overall a decent bock.

Bottle at Tania?s parents?. Pours clear dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark bread, some fruity notes, ethanol, dark dried fruits. Tastes sweet, but well balanced. Bitter finish. First sip is quite boring, but the taste improves the more you drink. Medium bodied. Nice winter warmer.

Cerveza de color naranja-ámbar con una buena cabeza blanca que conserva muy bien durante toda la sesión. Aroma a maltas tostadas. Sabores de caramelo y azúcares oscuros, algo de especias .Agradable y suave, de cuerpo medio, muy apetecible.

heavy (2817) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 23, 2015
Mar ’15. A 0.33 l bottle from some supermarket in Berlin. It poured a clear, dark copper-brown body with a small head. Fine caramel and raisins aroma. Moderately sweet flavor, fine caramel and biscuit profile with lots of dried fruit. Quite alcoholic, too. Medium in body with a long sweet finish. Some hops would do good to it. Okay, but I was not impressed anyway.

330 ml bottle, very interesting shaped. Purchased from Lifesource in Salem OR. $2.79 Dark amber coloured beer with a lovely smooth creamy white head. Aromas of raisins, figs, walnuts and toast. Taste similar to the aroma...creamy consistency. Dark plums..rum soaked raisins..delicious. .Excellent smooth , thick and luscious mouth feel. My kind of doppelbock.

Pours a clear orange/amber with a respectable antique lace head. Nutty, spicy aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt, buttery biscuits, nuts, some toffee, spices and a mild metallic character. ABV well hidden. Very good.

Købt i Real Flensborg. En fornuftig dobbeltbock med god smag af malt, karamel og lidt frugt. Lidt for meget sprittet for min smag og karboneringen forsvinder rimeligt hurtigt, hvilket får den til at fremstå lidt flad. Ok vintervarmer
