With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Bottle. Pours a deep and dark brown with a thin head. Aromas are interesting - a hint of plum or something with the leather and chocolate. Flavor is similar. Lots of chocolate leads the way but there is a slight fruit edge to it that makes this kind of distinctive and interesting. I haven't decided that I LOVE it, but I am intrigued. Has a kind of acidity to the finish.

Weak aroma of burned malt and chocolate. Dark, opaque with brown head. Roasted barley, coffee, chocolate. Medium body, medium carbonation.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2018 Really dang good. Quite heavy but every porter I have had after this one has disappointed me.

Czarne z przebłyskami, średni lacing. W zapachu czekolada i kawa, W smaku podobnie, trochę słodowości, sporo palności i...jak by to nazwać... nuty owcze? :) Owcze zagrodowe, tak :) Dobre, ale wracać nie ma potrzeby.

Really deep dark red pour, almost black with a single finger, tan colored head. Aroma of raisins and dark fruit, plus a little copper. Lace present right away. Light to medium bodied. Taste has some chocolate notes, a little toffee and caramel. Finish if kind of like coffee, but is also a little coppery. Too much dark malt for my liking.
