With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

16-AUG-2017, draft @Tap10, with Erik. Hazy, dark Brown, almost Black with a lasting, tan, lacing head. Aroma is roast and a slightly tart note. Taste is tart roast and dark berries. The tartness is not supposed to be there.

PowY (1219) - AUSTRIA - AUG 10, 2017
330 ml bottle, 03.04.2019. Pours a very dark mahogany with a quickly disappearing tan colored head. Aroma of roasted malt, toasted rye bread, nuts, hints of dark fruits. Medium to full smooth body with a very low carbonation, a light to medium sweetness and a light bitterness. The flavor is again full of roasted malt with chocolate, some caramel, nuts and toffee. Not overly complex but nicely balanced and very decent as it is.

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2017 Birthe 33cl. Aroma is toasted bread and nuts. Mild roasted taste with hazelnuts hints. Not hoppy at all and easy to drink. Very standard porter. I expected it to be more smokey.

lbianchi66 (457) - FRANCE - AUG 2, 2017

dorain (750) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUL 30, 2017
Aus der Flasche im 2015-01 getrunken. Schönes, aber auch einfaches Porter! Keine große Aromadichte aber dadurch recht süffig!
