COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Bottle at home. Pours black with medium tan head. Aroma has some yeast and roasted malts. Taste is pretty much just cocoa that is stronger in the end. Palate is dry with mild carbonation and short finish. Nice.

Bottle: Poured a clear black color porter with a nice light brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with light dry hints of coffee notes. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt with some light dry coffee notes and some black chocolate notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. This is not a style that usually excited me very much but this example was well brewed.

Bottle I brought back from my California trip. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma and taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, lots of coffee, caramel. Medium body. Creamy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Slightly bitter roasted finish.

Full body with strong coffee and tasty chocolate notes that linger, a roasted finish.

Fat. Mörkt brun öl med mahognyinslag och brunt skum. Doft av kaffe och rostad malt. I smaken tillkommer en lätt sötma och choklad. En helt okej porter som inte sticker ut.

Excellent porter. In the palate, hints of coffee and even dark chocolate, that they bring to the scents of a Baltic Porter. Full taste that create an expectation of a higher alcohol content that is simply not there. Very drinkable and non-binding as a Baltic; for me a great beer.

kustie (1186) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 4, 2016
Bottle. Pitch black color with tanned medium head. Aroma has roasted malt, caramel, dates and coffee. Taste is malty sweet with a bit bitter and fairly dry aftertaste. Flavors of cocoa, caramel, dark fruits, roasted malt.

Outstanding representation of a Porter. Pours the right color with the right nose and right head. The ones I had were right all around. Good roast and body. Skál i botn!
