jesperhammer (4788) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2017
16-AUG-2017, draft @Tap10, with Erik. Hazy amber with a lasting, lacing, off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt and fruit. Taste the same with dried fruit. Not as heavy and caramelly as many. Actually a "fresh" verion of a Scotch Ale. Some alcohol, and sweetness but not too much. Unfortunately a slight tartness and a touch of diacetyl too? A bit unclean. Could have been nice.

BillWyce (1092) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 16, 2017
Pours ruby red-amber with a 3-finger bone-colored head. Mild peaty aroma with a touch of smoke. Full body with some oily thickness. Long finish. Flavor has notes of peat and smoke with a mild spice note at the back. Mild astringency.

The beer is a bit light to be a Wee Heavy. From the aroma to the flavor needs a bit of oomph.

chinchill (5073) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 3, 2017
11.2 oz (330 mL) undated bottle from Tennessee. Served in a goblet. Clear, dark, lightly hazy red-brown body with a short head that quickly, but not completely, dissipates. Aroma – Sweet and malty with a clear hint of toffee. Flavor – lightly sweet with caramel malt and just a trace of smoke. Feel – medium body and near medium, soft carbonation. Smooth.
