From bottle pours a hazy pale yellow colour with small white head which doesn’t last too long. Aroma has lime, orange peel, coriander, herbal, doughy yeast. Taste is medium sweet and very lightly bitter, slightly salty. Mild carbonation and slightly watery in texture. Good for it’s style.

18-07-2017; bottle; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their July discovery box). The beer looks lovely. It looks exactly like a Witbier should look like, but than extra nice. The color of the beer is a nice pale yellow. The beer has a beautiful cloudiness. It gives the beer a nice satin look. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft fine white foam is formed. Foam retention is average. After a while a beautiful white drape of foam is left. Nice. The smell is nice. It isn’t very strong, but it is good. There are some nice sweet malty aromas. On top of this there are some bitter hops, delicious zesty aromas, clear orange peel and coriander. The orange and coriander are very clear, yet not to dominant. They blend together with the rest lovely. There is also a nice yeasty touch. Lovely. The taste of the beer is nice. Very nice, one of the better Witbieren I’ve had. There is a lovely sweet maltiness, with a biscuity touch. The orange zest is lovely, and blends so nice with the coriander. Add the creamy yeast flavours, and you have an amazing Witbier taste. Great. The palate of the beer is remarkably nice. There is a nice medium light body, smooth texture and medium carbonation. The beer has a nice creamy yeast touch to it. The finish is nice and contains some nice zest and spicy coriander. One of the beter Witbieren I’ve had. Not disappointed by this one.

Draught. Clear pale golden with white head. Aroma is dry crisp wheat with orange and a light herbal touch. Taste is similar but with more pronnounced coriander in the herbs and clearer orange. Light mouthfeel, light carbonation and light clean aftertaste with orange sweetness and coriander.

Had this beer at a party on July 4th. It was nice to enjoy while swimming. Fuck this app for making me write 75 characters worth of junk. I just like to try beer not write a fucking review. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle from Vinbudin Höfn. Hazy golden colour with a big, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, coriander, orange peel and spicy notes. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with spicy impressions. Nice Witbier.

330ml bottle from Majestic Wines. Pours light, clear with nice white head, aromas of coriander and orange, taste is very similar. Really lovey Icelandic beer, have bought many times before and will be buying many times again, one of the favourites.

Decent, very true to style, but basically Icelandic Hoegaarden. Main flaw is that mouthfeel is on the thin side. But spices come through, carbonation is fine, and not too sweet. Nonetheless, no reason to seek it out when other witbiers are superior and as widely available.

UPDATED: JUN 27, 2017 Bottle. Hazy pale yellow colour with a relatively small white head, nose is citric, yeasty and a bit sour with notes of orange, lime, coriander and balsamic vinegar and slightly metallic hints, taste is bready, sweet and sour with a mild finish.

Bottle from Alko Hakaniemi. Light yellow colour, pours a nice white head. Tastes of orange peel and citrus fruits. Very good white ale.

Present from Tony. Hazy pale yellow, good head. Yeasty grain aroma. Sour lemon yeast flavour. Sharp with bitter aftertaste. Sorry Tony not my thing.
