March 2013 - Cold bottle at home in Richmond, as ’Einstök Icelandic White Ale’. Very pale - like a white wine. Smells like bubblegum, lemon, medicinal. Taste is very watery with a bit of citrus, fair amount of carbonation and a slightly bitter aftertaste like a lager. Very refreshing - would be nice in the height of summer. Nothing exciting though. (3.4)

Feb 2016 - A gift from work colleagues. Nearly smashed it on the floor as soon as I was given it. Yeah similar to last time - has a buttery, wheaty, watery fruit vibe. Fine. (3.2)

330ml bottle from Waitrose. Pours a cloudy lemon with a creamy white head. Very delicate light notes of coriander and citrus lemon/ orange in the nose. Very smooth mouth feel. I can taste the quality of the ingredients and the crystal clear Icelandic water. Again the flavours are very delicate, wheat malts with the smallest amount of sweetness, coriander and orange. It’s slightly sour and citrus too. This is lovely stuff, subtle and hugely refreshing.

Bottle, gift from friend from Iceland. One of the few beers I’ve had without any distinguishable smell at all. The taste is as pure as water, it’s smooth as heaven and goes down a treat despite not having a huge flavour profile. It’s delicate, hugely freshing and would be great on a hot day or spring skiing day!

The Color of the beer is fascinating. Looks so bright yellow. A little but like urine. Sorry for that Discription ;-) The taste is light with a note of Orange and hops. No bitterness. Ok

Pours a light opaque gold with a thick white head. Aroma is of orange peel and flowers. I’m not getting any sweetness I’m tasting slight sour but a good sour I don’t know if it’s supposed to be like that. I’m kind of confused by the other posts and wondering if I have an older 6pk but I can see that if this beer was sweet that it would be really good.

Oranges and lemons in the aroma coming forth from a frothy pour. Light body, bright carbonation, and sweet and sharply dry finish. Lives up to the promise of being refreshing.

Bottle, 330 ml. Pours hazy light yellow/straw with a small amount of soapy white head. Small amount of carb visible, medium bubbles. Very herbal, vegetable nose with a lot of coriander. Smaller hints of lemon zest, sweet-ish wheat, mint, butter/dairy, light spice. Taste is slightly sour wheat/malt, creamy/buttery, with a hint of orange and some light spice towards the end. Finish is cereal and lactose, a bit cloying and sour. Body is medium, texture is creamy and smooth, carbonation is quite potent for the thickness. Good but the lactic sour at the end is a bit of a downside.
