Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - APR 13, 2005
Deep brown coloured. Nice malty aroma. Sweet and malty flavour. Soft mouthfeel. Well balanced. A very nice Dunkel.

rauchbier (3882) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUN 29, 2004
Bottled, from Fabeers in York. Deep bronze, good thick creamy off white head and gentle condition. Pleasing toffee, caramel, low toast and discreet hops in the nose. Sweet and malty in the mouth but never cloying, creamy and roasted with hints of buttery toffee and a touch of smokiness. Sweet and gently roasted finish with a little chocolate at the end.

Insgesamt ok. Test vom 17.3.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche

ciocanelu (2466) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - SEP 8, 2016
Clear, dark brown color with tan head. Aroma is classic sweet toasted malt, caramel and dark bread. Taste starts sweet and bready, continues with a touch of cola and caramel and finishes slightly astringent. Overall it’s classic dunkel with a light body and medium effervescence.

Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2011
The beer in the glass shining dark brown with slightly reddish touch. Smells like sweet and dark malts. Starts with lots of roasted malts, a slight sweetness comes through. Finish is malty bitter, with roasted coffee and hints of chocolate!

@ the Great British Beer Festival 2004. From my notes: Sweet & malty. A nice beer.
