Draught in Southerne part of France. Yellow colour with white head. Plente of malt - quite unusual for a pale lager. P-tor44 (886) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - AUG 21, 2003
Golden color with an average sized head that is completely filled with large bubbles. Lagerish sharpness to the nose. Its really just kind of swilly lager tasting but its Basque so slightly interesting. sleepylopes (318) - New York, USA - MAY 17, 2008
the carbonation makes the beer, otherwise avrage. light malt and a touch of hops round out the flavor. the basque seem to do most things better than beer. BroueNeault (158) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2003
Not impressed with this one. It is just another typical commercial lager. Not much aroma, not much taste. Tarosama (84) - Northumberland, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2016
I had this beer in the bar called Kostaldea in Guéthary. Yellow, not much head retention, can feel a hint of hop and light body.
Nice refreshing beer to drink in front of the beach on a hot summer days. Maltier than I thought for a French lager, sorry, Basque lager….
