A truly great Pils, a little maltier and more ‘Bavarian’ than the rest. The 6-packs are brand new for the American market.

Not a bad pilsner. Nice froth white head with moderate lacing on a clear gold body. Fizzy. Aroma is significant and hints of grassy hoppy aroma. Taste initially lightly sweet with a crisp dry nicly hopped finish. Decent

Clean, crisp and clear; no skunky aroma or taste. Just what I expect from a good German pilsener.

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2003
A very classic German pilsener. Golden coloured. Clean and crisp with bitter finish.

a good drinking beer. something for every day. very light and smooth. very little aftertaste.

Suttree (6385) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 28, 2003
Skunky aroma, even in a brown bottle. Yellow, sloppy white head. constant champaigne-like carbonation. Mildly hoppy, sourish, tart through the finish. No "off" flavors (canned corn, metallic). Actually, the tartness was an oddly appealing aspect of the beer.

This was bad, even compared to EKU 28 (which I don't enjoy much). The flavour reminds me of the fake beers I drank before I was 21.

Yeah, it's a German pilsner so it's yellow, clear, and tastes like sugar wheat. Fairly clean and clear. Some mild citrus flavors.

JoeM500 (1908) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - NOV 10, 2003
Light yellow, very carbonated and bubbly. Lightstruck skunkiness, straw taste, dry grasses. Medium bodied though and not to ruined in the taste (even though nose was skunked).

Falconseye8 (542) - Evans, Colorado, USA - OCT 29, 2003
Roasty bitter start. Decent Head some lacing. Bready/spicy undertones contained within this one. Not bad. Not my favorite either.

Hopistotle420 (1178) - Amherst, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 26, 2003
Perfumey nose. Light golden colour. White head. Like said before, very typical german pils. I feel like this has a great body, and is a a perfect rendition of the style. Herbal finish. Refreshing and crisp, a nice pilsner indeed. Delicate and sophisticated.
