UPDATED: SEP 9, 2007 Rerate, 8-9-07, 50cl can, Leffe goblet, bbe 1.5.08. Thin, straw hue with a short, fizzy white head. Light bready pils malt with some light grassy hops. Traces of diacetyl. Lightly sweet throughout with virtually no acidity and a light hop bitterness in the finish. Watery texture, medium to light bodied, lively carbonation. Boring, flat in the mouth.lipskin (38) - Youngstown, Ohio, USA - JAN 23, 2004
33 cL bottle, lager glass, 47 F. Bread malt (L); earthy, spicey hops (M). Great pils aroma. Some light honey notes. Billowing, creamy, white head is slowly subsiding and sits on a heavily carbonated golden body. Lightly sweet flavor becomes a moderately bitter, lightly astringent finish. Medium light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. The bottom line is: tisk, tisk; naughty astringency.
A nice, tasty pils. Very crisp and easy to drink. Light and refreshing. Very good on a hot summer day. savitska (163) - Smyrna, Georgia, USA - JAN 12, 2004
Tart, lemony nose and clean, light head. Clear, yellow color. Dry, spicy character. Pilsners aren't my thing, but this one held my attention and was representative of the style. Very drinkable and refreshing. bob32256 (171) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - JAN 8, 2004
aroma of hops; pale yellow color with a thin white head; pleasantly bitter; a very good pilsner kumite56 (473) - Cordova, Tennessee, USA - JAN 6, 2004
Not a bad pilsner. Nice froth white head with moderate lacing on a clear gold body. Fizzy. Aroma is significant and hints of grassy hoppy aroma. Taste initially lightly sweet with a crisp dry nicly hopped finish. Decent

Clean, crisp and clear; no skunky aroma or taste. Just what I expect from a good German pilsener. Hildigöltur (5103) - København, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2003
A very classic German pilsener. Golden coloured. Clean and crisp with bitter finish. dragonthc (11) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - DEC 27, 2003
a good drinking beer. something for every day. very light and smooth. very little aftertaste. Suttree (6541) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 28, 2003
Skunky aroma, even in a brown bottle. Yellow, sloppy white head. constant champaigne-like carbonation. Mildly hoppy, sourish, tart through the finish. No "off" flavors (canned corn, metallic). Actually, the tartness was an oddly appealing aspect of the beer. SirTom (89) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - NOV 27, 2003
This was bad, even compared to EKU 28 (which I don't enjoy much). The flavour reminds me of the fake beers I drank before I was 21.
