bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Clear medium amber with a foamy 2" white head, bubbly bands of lace. Good looking (like the 1950 era beer ads). Aroma of malt and corn. Taste is malt that adds floral hops on the swallow, showing a bit of clay as it moves on to a lingering bittered finish. A light brew, but a reasonable pilsener. Una buona pilsener con un buon grado alcolico. Aspetto molto limpido e dorato, corpo medio, luppolatura giusta YantarCoast (1335) - Moscow, RUSSIA - NOV 9, 2014
500ml can from local booze store. Pours pale gold with a small white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of floral hops. Well balanced and drinkable. cazort (561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 18, 2014
(Bottle) From State Line Liquors, MD. I was pleasantly surprised by this one...the commercial description hints at being maltier, and I agree, it’s a little maltier than typical for a Pilsner. Still pleasantly hoppy though and not too heavy. Very enjoyable. Among the best of the bottled German Pilsners I’ve tried in the US.

"a pretty good example of the style. bready but still crisp with even a little bit of a hop bite. overall, a refreshing and well balanced beer. especially good in summer, though i just had one and it’s 34 outside!"

The 6th and final Lager/Pilsner on 15th Sep 2014 during a tasting session with my son. This was the best of a pretty poor bunch! half litre bottle: BBD 2nd Mar 2015. Good looking brew, golden, clean and bright with a full white crown: just like a Pilsner should appear like. The nose was thin, like most in this style, there was a hint of hop bitterness but nothing much. The taste was a crisp hop bitter flavour and very little malt sweetness compared to the other brews we shared during the evening. A good solid Pilsner although it only stood out because the others were so sweet and bland. KansaiBeerLvrs (5090) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 15, 2014
Can from Petit Marché in Imazato. Shared at my Summer Plunder Tasting as a palate cleanser. It pours a crystal clear gold with a foamy white head & a sweet sugary light malt aroma. Medium bodied with a round mouthfeel. The taste is sugary sweet light malts and a sharp mildly bitter finish. OK, it served it’s purpose and for 100 yen for a pint I felt satisfied. theisti (4113) - Kansas, USA - SEP 15, 2014
16 oz pils glass draft at Gralehaus in Louisville, Kentucky (technically in the garden between Gralehaus and Holy Grale). The pour is a clear golden with a one inch pure white head. Great retention on the head. The aroma is cracker malt along with a bit of mineral and earth. The taste is fresh and crisp, nice malt character along with grass and mineral in the finish. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation, unfiltered mouth feel and a bit of sweet in the finish. Clean and tasty Pils. kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 12, 2014
Very clear golden with a white head and lots of bubbles. Crisp grain arpma. Crisp grassy flavor with manageble sweetness. Light crisp body but full flavor.
