Bottle from a supermarket in Benasque. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is apples, mealy apple skin, quite tart and earthy, straightforward. Taste is natural apples, earthy, but surprisingly sweet, with quite some vanilla notes. Soft but present effervescent carbonation. Solid, albeit a bit sweet - it feels natural, though. Interesting.

Aroma of fermented fruit, apples. Taste is little sweet, apples, tangy fruit or maybe wooden notes. Very good for the price.

750 bottle shared with Sarah on holiday in Fuertaventra. A clear pale green gold coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is spicy apple, woody pips and bark, little bile. Flavour is composed of sweet and tangy, apple and a hint of wood. Spicy finish. Palate is medium sweet, frothy airy carbonation. A bit sweet for my tastes.

Straight from bottle at the beach of Abades, Tenerife. Sweet red apples. Light nuttiness, tannin. Over medium sweet. Medium body, sticky sweet. Non dry. Soft carbonation. Hints of blue cheese in the finish. Too sweet for my liking.

From a corked 75cl bottle at Mercadonna. Straw blond colour. Nice carbonation. The apple taste is only slightly sweet. The cork seems to give it a wild, funky edge.
